This workshop is a fun exploration of abstract painting that will boost confidence and encourage you to push boundaries. Learn how to create textural abstract paintings inspired by Winter. 

  • Use expressive brushstrokes
  • Paint with palette knives, sponges and other tools to create texture
  • Use masking, drips and line to create interest

You’ll be taken step by step through the process and make your own abstract masterpiece to take home.

Beginner friendly and all materials are included!

Refund policy

For all workshops I offer a full refund if you call or email me to cancel at least 48 hours before the start of your booking. I am unable to offer you any refund if your workshop is due to commence within 48 hours, or if you do not attend.

Cancellation by Cardiff Artspace
I reserve the right to cancel any course or class at any time. If this happens you can choose either a full refund or a transfer to an alternative course/ workshop.

The Studio is based in Meanwhile House, just a 10 minute walk from Cardiff Central station. We're just off Curran Embankment. From Penarth Road take the turning between Big Yellow Storage and Kwik Fit and it's the first turning on the left.

The carpark on site is available to visitors at the weekend so you can park right outside the building..

Access
The studio is on the first floor, accessed via a staircase. Please contact me if you have any access requirements. I will always do my best to accommodate but due to the restrictions of the building this is not always possible.
