Line and Wash Landscapes - Saturday 27th July, 10am-12pm

Regular price £25.00 Sale

The line and wash technique is a great way of enhancing watercolour paintings. Learn how to combine expressive watercolour wash and ‘wet in wet’ techniques with the precision and detail of a pen drawing. You’ll try both ‘pen first’ and ‘wash first’ techniques to find which style suits you.

The class will include tutor demonstrations and small studies to practice techniques. You’ll then apply what you’ve learned to your own full ‘line and wash’ landscape painting to take home

Suitable for beginners and all materials included!

Saturday 27th July, 10am-12pm

How to find us:

Our Studio is based in Meanwhile House, just a 10 minute walk from Cardiff Central station. We're just off Curran Embankment. From Penarth Road take the turning between Big Yellow Storage and Kwik Fit and we're the first turning on the left.

Address
Meanwhile House, Curran Embankment, CF10 5FX

Parking:

Daytimes (until 6pm):

The carpark outside the building is reserved for staff only until 6pm (including weekends) and you need a permit to park here. The nearest street parking is just over the bridge along the river on either Taff Embankment or Taffs Mead Embankment. This is charged with meters so do check signs but it is a very short walk from here to the studio. We are also just a 10 minute walk from Cardiff Central train station so easily accessible by public transport. If you do have access requirements and need parking on site we have one visitor permit that can be used by students with prior arrangement but visitor parking is limited and cannot be guaranteed.

Access
Our studio is on the first floor, accessed via a staircase. Please contact us if you have any access requirements. We will always do our best to accommodate but due to the restrictions of the building this is not always possible.
