"I loved art as a child but struggled to perfect or finish any pieces as I got older. This course has been like therapy. Kate gently helped me resdiscover a creative side to myself that has been buried in adulthood - learning to experiment, go with the flow and try out a range of techniques. Inspiring and fun - thank you so much!" - Hayley
"As an older student with no experience I was slightly apprehensive when I joined the course. I need not have worried. Kate is a marvellous teacher who put me at ease and was non judgemental. By the end of the course I was having great fun! Do try it." - Richard

How to find us
Our Studio is based in Meanwhile House, just a 10 minute walk from Cardiff Central station. We're just off Curran Embankment. From Penarth Road take the turning between Big Yellow Storage and Kwik Fit and we're the first turning on the left.
Daytimes (until 6pm): The carpark outside the building is reserved for staff only until 6pm (including weekends) and you need a permit to park here. The nearest street parking is just over the bridge along the river on either Taff Embankment or Taffs Mead Embankment. This is charged with meters so do check signs but it is a very short walk from here to the studio. We are also just a 10 minute walk from Cardiff Central train station so easily accessible by public transport. If you do require parking on site we have two visitor permits that can be used by students with prior arrangement but visitor parking is limited and cannot be guaranteed.
Evenings (6pm onwards): The carpark on site is available to visitors from 6pm. If you do arrive early for your class we'd advise you wait with your car until 6pm just in case of inspection.
Access Our studio is on the first floor, accessed via a staircase. Please contact us if you have any access requirements. We will always do our best to accommodate but due to the restrictions of the building this is not always possible.
